As an athlete, Tommy competed in lacrosse and wrestling for Easton High School in Pennsylvania. He competed on two state champion wrestling teams, one of which was named national champions in 1996. Tommy was awarded All-American status by placing 4th in 1997 & 2nd in 1998 at the Reno Tournament of Champions. He competed for Clarion University in 1998. Later, Tommy was an assistant wrestling coach for St Peters Prep in NJ where he helped St Peters break into the national rankings for the first time and mentored individual state place winners annually in 11 seasons. As an amateur boxer, Tommy was trained by former heavyweight champion, Larry Homes and fought through the 2007 Extell development heavyweight championship in NY, NY representing Trinity Gym. Tommy brings over 15 years of financial industry experience, 10 years on Wall St, and continues his financial industry work here in the Lowcountry. Coach Ferraro is is a dedicated father and husband who is all about giving back. He is the founder of BadDawg Club and serves as the President on the board of directors.
Andrew E. Geer, MD is an anesthesiologist that specializes in pain management. He pursued higher education here in the Lowcountry earning an undergraduate degree from College of Charleston, then continued on to complete medical school, residency and fellowship all at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Geer currently serves as Vice President on the board of directors, and sits on the South Carolina Society of Anesthesiologists Political Action Committee. Formerly serving as a member of the Charleston County Society Legislative Committee and Narcotic Advisory Board for Workers Compensation Board Governor's Committee, Dr. Geer also partook in competitive sailing at College of Charleston.
McKenna Palacios is not only a volunteer coach for BadDawg Club, she also serves on the BadDawg Club board of directors as Treasurer. McKenna wrestled 9 years,; beginning in just the 4th grade she excelled on the mat to become a 4 time varsity starter and captain her senior year in high school. Palacios was also the first female wrestler to earn a varsity letter at her school, win a match on varsity and place at conferences. Since moving to Charleston, she has been able to extend her wrestling career as the Assistant Coach for Military Magnet Academy. Aside from wrestling, Coach Palacios is a full-time veterinarian assistant while also being enrolled in a full-time vet tech program.
Alex graduated from the University of Virginia with a BA in Russian Language and Literature. He then worked at T&B Education as an SAT Verbal instructor, curriculum developer, and college consultant. Alex also teaches AP World & US History, AP Psychology, AP Macro/Microeconomics, AP Literature, and AP Language. In 2017, he turned down an offer to run T&B's Hong Kong office to open Food for Thought - Education Strategies here in Charleston, SC. Alex serves as Secretary on the board of directors for BadDawg Club.
